Background: Giorgio Giovinazzo started his career working in the construction industry, working on historic building restoration, masonry and concrete repair, building envelop analysis and building material area and cost estimations.

He continued his education to receive his Master of Architecture with interest in architectural history, architectural theory, inclusive design and building science. In addition Giorgio Giovinazzo excelled in urban planning completing his first major project for the City of Welland’s Downtown Revitalization Proposal an assessment of the existing Downtown of Welland and neighbouring municipalities and preparing recommendations for future revitalization.

Prior to starting Giorgio Giovinazzo Architect in 2012 he has work with Venerino V.P. Panici Architect, for the previous 11 years and 2M Architects Prior to that. He has been involved with the City of Welland Library Board and Heritage committee and continues to be an active member of the community

Experience: During his 20 Years of Architectural Experience George has worked on a variety of projects, that include; feasibility design studies and heritage and non-heritage building assessments, barrier free design studies, assessments and alterations, site works projects, school additions and alterations, business and commercial interior alterations and tenant improvements and New Building Types including; Churches, Museums and Archives, Visitor Centres, Orientations Centres, Tourist Attractions and Various scales of Residential Developments.
